Bulgogi
- 3lb bottom round roast, thinly sliced cross grain and tenderized
- Marinade:
- crushed garlic
- 1 cup soy sauce
- few dashes of sesame oil
- 1/4 cup syrup
- 1 TBSP pepper
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/3 cup sugar
- 1/2 can 7-Up
- Sauce:
- 3 TBSP soy sauce
- 1 clove garlic, crushed
- 1 TBSP sesame oil
- 1 tsp chinese bean paste (Mein Chiang)
- 1 tsp toasted sesame seeds
- 2 TBSP sherry or sake
- 1 tsp minced green onion
- 1 TBSP sugar
- 1 TBSP canola oil
- 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper
- Condiments:
- leaf lettuce
- steamed rice
- sliced garlic
- kimchee
- Combine marinade ingredients in large resealable bag. Put beef into bag and refrigerate overnight. Grill on high 1-2min/side.
- Combine marinade ingredients.
- Serve with above condiments
