Marinated Shish Kabobs
- 2 lb. sirloin or tenderloin, cubed
- 1/2 c. olive oil
- 1/4 c. lemon juice
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. marjoram
- 1 tsp. oregano
- 1/2 tsp. pepper
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1/2 c. onion, chopped
- 1/4 c. parsley, chopped (4 Tbsp. dried parsley equals 1/4 c. fresh)
- 1 large can mushrooms
- 2 green peppers
- 1 jar boiled onions
- 4 tomatoes
- Trim
- fat
- off
- meat.tombine
- remaining
- ingredients except mushrooms, peppers, onions and tomatoes.
- Marinate meat in this mixture for 6 hours, turning often.
- Add mushrooms and pepper wedges to
- marinating
- sauce.
- Marinate
- 2tore hours. When ready totssemble,
- alternate
- meat, peppers, onions and tomatoes (wedges orthole,tmall
- tomatoes)
- on
- skewers and broil about 20tinutes,
- basting often with marinating sauce. (May be cooked on the outdoor grill.) Yields 4 servings.
