Milky Way Bars
- 1 German chocolate cake mix
- 1/2 c. evaporated milk
- 1 stick butter/margarine
- 2 eggs
- 1 bag caramel candy
- 1/3 c. evaporated milk
- 12 oz. semi-sweet chocolate chips
- Preheat oven to 350u0b0.
- Mix cake mix, 1/2 cup evaporated milk, butter/margarine and eggs in mixing bowl until well blended. Spread half of this batter in a greased/floured 9 x 12-inch cake pan.
- Bake 10 minutes.
- Melt caramel candies with 1/3 cup evaporated milk (the easiest way to do this is in your microwave in a glass microwave safe bowl).
- Spread candy mixture over cake batter.
- Sprinkle chocolate chips over candy mixture.
- Top with remaining cake batter and return to oven.
- Bake an additional 20 minutes.
- Remove from oven and let cool completely.
- Cut into 2-inch squares.
- Store covered in refrigerator.
