  1. Place all the ingredients, except the paprika
  2. and butter, in a bowl and mix together well.
  3. Season with the paprika, and some salt and
  4. pepper. Let stand for 24 hours in a warm place
  5. so the flavors can infuse.
  6. Using a wooden spoon, beat the infused
  7. mixture into the softened butter. Roll the
  8. butter in wax or parchment paper into a sausage
  9. shape, secure the ends, and chill until required.
  10. To serve, place a slice of the butter on the
  11. meat or fish. The butter will slowly melt
  12. over the food and add a wonderful flavor.
