Stir-Fry Beef

  1. Freezing beef makes it easier to slice thinly.
  2. Beef should be sliced thin.
  3. Pour the 1/4 cup soy sauce and sugar over meat. Marinate 1/2 hour.
  4. Chop tomatoes and green peppers in 1-inch cubes.
  5. Heat oil in frying pan; add garlic and ginger.
  6. After a minute, remove garlic and add green peppers.
  7. Saute 3 minutes, stirring occasionally, during remaining cooking time, so ingredients will cook evenly.
  8. Add beef and its liquid; saute 3 minutes.
  9. Add tomatoes and blend cornstarch with the 1 teaspoon soy sauce.
  10. Gently stir it in entire mixture.
  11. Cook, stirring gently for a minute or two.
  12. Serve over rice or noodles.
