Seven-Up Salad(Serves 10 To 12)

  1. Drain pineapple and reserve 1 cup of juice.
  2. Dissolve Jell-O in boiling water.
  3. Add Seven-Up, crushed pineapple, marshmallows and banana slices.
  4. Refrigerate until firm.
  5. Make a custard by cooking the butter, flour, eggs, sugar and 1 cup of pineapple juice until very thick.
  6. When cool, fold in whipped cream and spread over salad.
  7. Sprinkle top with grated cheeses.
