Oyster Dressing

  1. Soak the French bread in water. Remove as much water as possible. Melt the butter in a pan and saute the green pepper, celery and onion until opaque. Add 2 cups of bread, oysters, oyster water, Tabasco, coarse black pepper, Lea & Perrins and salt. Reduce by 1/2 over high heat, until it stand on its own as dressing. Top with pecan pieces and green onions
