Spicy Shrimp And Crab Dip
- 6 ounces uncooked large shrimp, peeled, deveined, chopped
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 4 to 6 green onions, thinly sliced (both white & green parts)
- 1/3 cup mayonnaise
- 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- 1/8 to 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon dry mustard
- 1/4 teaspoon "Old Bay" seasoning
- 4 ounces fresh crabmeat
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Melt butter over medium-high heat. Add shrimp and cook just until shrimp are opaque in center.
- Transfer shrimp to a plate and refrigerate until cool.
- Mix sliced green onions, mayonnaise, lemon juice, paprika, cayenne, mustard and Old Bay in medium bowl.
- Mix in shrimp and crabmeat. Season with salt and pepper.
- Cover and chill.
- Serve with crackers.
