Dutch Oven Beef Enchiladas

  1. Brown ground
  2. beef,
  3. onions,
  4. pepper,
  5. onion
  6. salt
  7. and garlic powder in a 14-inch Dutch oven.
  8. When done, remove meat from
  9. oven and
  10. drain
  11. off drippings.
  12. Put a little enchilada sauce in the bottom of the Dutch oven.
  13. Layer 6 tortillas, 1/3 of the
  14. meat mixture, 1/4 of the sauce and 1/4 of the cheese. Repeat
  15. layers twice, ending with remaining sauce and cheese. Cook, covered, with
  16. 12
  17. coals on the top and 14 coals on the bottom for 20 minutes or until bubbling.tarnish with chopped green onions and serve.
