Strawberry Crumble With Sundowner
- Crumble:
- Virgin(Optional) Strawberry-Lime Sundowner:
- 1. Melt the butter into a large mixing bowl. Crush cookies coarsely. Add cookies, trickle sugar, & muesli to melted butter & mix till sticky with a wooden spoon.
- 2. Lay wax paper on a 35 x 25 x 2cm (small) baking tray. Cover surface of tray with 3 quarters of crunchie mixture. Spread jam ontop of crunchie base.
- 3. Slice canned strawberries and fresh strawberries into a bowl. Lay strawberry mixture ontop of base. Sprinkle remainder of crunchie mixture ontop of berry mixture.
- 4. Preheat oven to 180 Degrees Celsius. Bake crumble for 10 - 15 minutes or until jam melts into base and starts boiling. Once done leave tray to set and cool in the fridge for at least 1 hour.
- 5. To make sundowner. Pour Sprite, Cordial, into a large jug. Thinly slice lemons & add into mixture. Chop fresh strawberries into quarters & add to mixture. Let mixture chill in the fridge for about an hour.
- 6. Add ice into glasses and pour mixture ontop.
- 7. Divide chilled crumble into slices and serve with cold custard and fresh Strawberries . . . #GoodFOODisCheap
