Lemon Bars

  1. Crust: Combine flour, butter, sugar and press into 9x13 pan. Bake crust at 350u0b0F 20-25 min. Cool.
  2. Filling: Combine Pie filling, Knox gelatin, sugar, lemon juice, egg yoke (save whites), water in saucepan. Cook to full boil. Add lemon rind and butter. Chill filling.
  3. Prepare Dream Whip as directed on box and chill.
  4. Beat egg whites until stiff peaks form. Fold into Filling mixture.
  5. Save approx. 1 cup of Dream Whip, fold in remainder to filling.
  6. Pour lemon filling onto crust and chill.
  7. Frost with thin layer of remaining Dream Whip.
  8. Keep chilled.
