Giant Gingerbread Kids

  1. Beat sugar, shortening, molasses and water in large bowl. Beat on low speed of mixer until blended.
  2. Beat on medium speed 1 minute.
  3. Stir in remaining ingredients except raisins.
  4. Cover and refrigerate until chilled, 1 to 2 hours.
  5. Heat oven to 375u0b0. Sprinkle a cloth-covered surface lightly with flour; turn dough onto
  6. surface.
  7. Roll dough with a rolling pin until 1/4-inch thick. Cut with a 5 to 8-inch gingerbread cutter.
  8. Lift with large spatula onto an ungreased cookie sheet.
  9. Decorate with raisins. Bake until set, 8 to 10 minutes.
  10. Let cookies cool 3 minutes, then remove.
  11. Cool and decorate with frosting, if you like.
