Chocolate Chip /Toffee Cookies

  1. Preheat oven to 325 degrees
  2. Beat butter and sugars
  3. Add eggs & vanilla - mix
  4. Add flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt and old fashioned oats - once ingredients are combined and the dough is formed, add toffee bits and chocolate chips and mix.
  5. I use a teaspoon to make cookies on sheet pan and bake in the oven til light brown on edges - about 6 minutes.
  6. I usually make a double batch and freeze some - I love to snack on this dough both raw & cooked! ;P
  7. To freeze the dough - take parchment paper, put dough in the center and then make a log.
  8. I then put it in a ziplock bag and put the date on it - can be stored for 1 - 2 months.
  9. I cut slices of the dough for a quick chocolate/toffee cookie dough fix or to bake off a few cookies!
