Flank Steak Fix-Up

  1. Rub steak with garlic; season with 1 teaspoon salt and the pepper.
  2. Cut meat crosswise into 4 to 6 serving pieces.
  3. In large skillet, partially cook bacon.
  4. Drain.
  5. Reserve drippings in skillet.
  6. Place slice of bacon on each piece of meat; roll up and secure with toothpicks.
  7. Coat rolls with flour.
  8. Brown rolls in reserved drippings over medium heat.
  9. Stir together tomato sauce, 1/2 teaspoon salt, marjoram leaves, parsley and onion; pour over meat.
  10. Cover tightly; simmer 45 to 60 minutes.
  11. Makes 4 to 6 servings.
