Chocolate Chip Muffins
- 8 ounces all-purpose flour
- 5 ounces sugar
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1 egg
- 8 ounces skim milk
- 2 ounces unsalted, melted butter
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 3 to 4 ounces semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1 tablespoon lemon zest (or 1 teaspoon lemon juice)
- Optional: 1/4 teaspoon salt
- Before: preheat the oven to 350 degrees
- 1. Get two bowls.
- 2. Pour the dry ingredients (salt, chocolate chips, sugar, flour, baking powder) into the bigger bowl.
- 3. Pour the liquid ingredients (everything else for you slow ones) into the smaller bowl.
- 4. Stir dry ingredients for 5 minutes
- 5. Stir liquid ingredients until a yellow-tannish color with no blemishes.
- 6. Pour the liquid into the dry ingredients
- 7. Stir until tan.
- 8. Cook for 18 minutes or until light brown.
- 9. Enjoy. :)
