Baked Lasagne
- 8 oz. lasagne noodles
- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1/4 c. chopped onion
- 6 oz. can tomato paste
- 8 oz. can tomato sauce
- 1 tsp. dried, crushed sweet basil
- 1 tsp. parsley garlic salt
- 1/2 tsp. leaf oregano
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 1 1/2 c. water
- 2 c. creamed cottage cheese
- 1 egg
- 1 c. shredded Mozzarella cheese
- Cook lasagne noodles as directed on package.
- Brown beef with onion in skillet. Add tomato paste, tomato sauce, garlic salt, basil, oregano, 1/8 teaspoon pepper and water.
- Simmer 1/2 hour. Combine cottage cheese, egg and 1/8 teaspoon pepper.
- In a 12 x 8-inch baking dish, alternate layers of noodles, cottage cheese mixture, meat mixture and Mozzarella cheese, ending with cheese. Bake at 350u0b0 for 30 minutes. Remove from oven and let stand 15 minutes before serving.
- Makes 6 to 8 servings.
