Steak And Potato Casserole

  1. In a large frying pan, melt butter.
  2. Cook onion until tender. Remove.
  3. Brown meat; remove.
  4. To drippings in frying pan, add flour, salt, and pepper.
  5. Remove from heat.
  6. Gradually stir in buttermilk.
  7. Cook slowly until thickened.
  8. Stir constantly.
  9. Cook 2 minutes more.
  10. Add mushrooms and parsley.
  11. In a butter casserole dish, layer potatoes then onion and steaks.
  12. Pour sauce over all. Cover with aluminum foil.
  13. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour or until potatoes are tender.
  14. Serves 6.
  15. Enjoy.
