Gourmet Pork Chops

  1. Cook rice according to package directions.
  2. Brown chops in fat over medium
  3. heat at 325u0b0.
  4. Season with 1 teaspoon salt and pepper.
  5. Remove
  6. chops
  7. and
  8. saute
  9. mushrooms,
  10. celery and onions in butter
  11. over
  12. medium heat at 250u0b0 until tender.
  13. Add bouillon cubes; crush
  14. and stir to dissolve.
  15. Add cooked rice, cream and remaining
  16. 1/4 teaspoon salt.
  17. Place rice mixture in 11 x 7-inch baking
  18. dish, arranging chops on top.
  19. Cover with aluminum foil and bake at 350u0b0 for 45 minutes.
