Rugelach

  1. Sift Flour with Baking soda & salt.
  2. Make well in flour mixture and add sugar and eggs.
  3. Beat sugar and eggs into flour mixture with fork.
  4. Add oil and continue mixing.
  5. Add lemon juice, vinegar and water and mix until combined.
  6. Dip hands into flour and knead, adding more flour if necessary.
  7. Dust dough with flour and place in covered bowl and lest rest for 20 minutes.
  8. Heat oven to 350 degrees.
  9. Greese a baking pan (or use parchment or baking mat).
  10. Separate dough into 5 pieces.
  11. Roll each one into a circle. Brush melted butter onto circle, sprinkle with cinnamon sugar, spread with preserves, top with walnuts and raisins.
  12. Cut into 8-10 triangles and roll.
  13. Brush tops of cookes with butter & sprinkle with cinnamon sugar.
  14. Bake for about 30 minutes or until light brown.
