Beer Battered Fried Fish

  1. Combine all dry ingredients in a mixing bowl, then whisky in one can of cold beer.
  2. Dredge the fish in some flour and pat off any excess. Dip the fish in the beer batter, making sure it is completely coated.
  3. Heat oil to 350 degrees and place battered fish in stock pot. Cooking time will vary with the size of the fish - a 4 ounce piece will take about four minutes. Only place a few pieces in at a time to avoid crowding the pot. Remove fish using a frying basket, let cool, and eat.

flour, corn meal, corn starch, baking powder, salt, pepper, lager beer, cod, sunflower
