Japanese Fruit Cake

  1. Cream butter and sugar gradually; add vanilla. Sift flour, salt and soda together. Add the eggs, one at a time, to the batter mixture. Add flour and milk alternately using some flour last. Pour half of mixture into 2 greased and floured cake pans. Bake at 300u0b0 until done.
