Super Easy Chili
- 1 lb ground beef (can substitute chicken or turkey for a healthier version)
- 1/2 c. diced onion
- 2 cans kidney beans*
- 1 can black beans(or other beans)*
- 1-2 Tbsp. chili pepper (depends on how much spice you like)
- 1 tsp. Salt
- 1/2 tsp. black pepper
- 1 tsp. cumin
- 1 clove garlic minced (or 1 tsp. granulated garlic)
- 16 oz. tomato sauce
- *Do not drain the beans, add liquid and beans to the chili
- 1. Brown the ground beef (or turkey/chicken)in a large skillet.
- 2. Add onion and garlic to the beef and saute until the onions are tender and translucent
- 3. Add the beef/onion mixture and the rest of the ingredients to a 4 quart pot and simmer for 20 minutes.
- serve with sour cream and cheddar cheese and enjoy!
