Broiled Salmon With Sweet Soy And Wasabi
- 2 Salmon Filets
- 3 table spoons of a sweet soysauce such as Ketjap Manis. (you can use regular soy and add sugar or a thick balsamic vinegar)
- 1 teaspoon on Wasabi Paste
- 1 table spoon shopped scallions
- 1 teaspoon garlic
- 1 a few drops of sesame oil.
- 1 table spoon rice wine vinegar or white wine vinegar (basically, something thats more subtle)
- Whisk all the ingredients together and marinate salmon filets in a ziplock bag for 15-20 minutes.
- Place salmon under the broiler about 4 inches away for 10 minutes for a pink center and 12 for a fully cooked fish.
- Warm the rest of the marinate from the ziplock bag with a 2 table spoons of water on a stove to thicken it.
- Drizzle this on the fish after plating.
