Beatrice'S Molasses Ginger Cookies

  1. Preheat oven to 375.
  2. Cream butter (and Crisco); add sugar and continue beating.
  3. Add eggs and molasses. Beat to combine.
  4. Add all dry ingredients and beat until well combined and smooth.
  5. Roll dough into 1" balls and roll in extra sugar to coat.
  6. Place on lightly greased sheet pan, allowing space between as they spread slightly.
  7. Bake 9-10 minutes or until your desired state of crispness.
  8. Cool on pan until you can easily lift them to racks to cool thoroughly.
