Shepard'S Pie
- 2 lbs Ground Lamb (locally raised)
- 2 Sweet Onions
- 1/4 c Fresh Rosemary
- 1/8 c Fresh Mint
- 2 TBSP Fresh Basil
- 3 cloves chopped Garlic
- Bread crumbs
- 1 tsp Salt
- 1/2 tsp Pepper
- 2 TBSP Olive Oil
- 6 lg yellow Potatoes
- 1/2 stick Butter
- 1/2 C Sour Cream
- 3/4 C Milk
- **All ingredients local, organic and fresh!!
- Boil potatoes until soft.
- While potatoes are boiling, chop onions and garlic and saute in olive oil until soft. Add lamb and cook until no pink shows. Add bread crumbs, spices and salt and pepper and place mixture in a glass casserole dish.
- Drain potatoes and mash. Add butter, milk and sour cream until you have creamy mashed potatoes and spread over the top of the meat mixture.
- Bake for 30 minutes at 375 degrees
- Serve it up!!
