Gayle'S Best Trifle
- t (19.8 ounce) package brownie mix
- t (3.9 ounce) package instant chocolate pudding mix
- t/2 Cup water
- t/4 Cup Baileys Irish cream or some other wonderful mocha liquor
- t/2 can (14 ounce) can sweetened condensed milk
- t (8 ounce) container frozen whipped topping, thawed (NOTE: I prefer real whipping cream here and that is what I use when serving guests)
- t/4 Cup toffee bits (Heath, sold in chocolate chips section of grocery store))
- t (12 ounce) container frozen whipped topping, thawed. Extra Creamy or French Vanilla
- t (1.5 ounce) bar chocolate candy
- 1.trepare brownie mix according to package directions and cool completely. Cut into 1 inch squares.
- 2.tn a large bowl, combine pudding mix, Baileys, water and sweetened condensed milk. Mix until smooth, then fold in 8-12 ounces whipped cream until no streaks remain.
- 3.tn a trifle bowl or glass serving dish, place half of the brownies, half of the pudding mixture and half of the 12 ounce container of whipped topping. Sprinkle toffee bits all over Repeat layers. Shave chocolate onto top layer for garnish. Refrigerate at least 8 hours before serving.
