Spicy Tomato-Fish Chowder

  1. Heat the olive oil over moderate heat; add the garlic, tomatoes, basil, oregano, cayenne pepper and wine.
  2. Cook, uncovered, for 10 minutes. Add the water. Cover and bring to a simmer, about 3 minutes.
  3. Mix in the cod and shrimp and cook, uncovered, about 5 minutes longer.
  4. Ladle into bowls and add a tablespoon or two of fresh crab meat.
  5. Sprinkle with parsley.
