Heidi'S Favorite Cookies
- 2 sticks unsalted butter
- 2 1/4 cups Bread Flour
- 1 tsp Kosher Salt
- 1 tsp Baking Soda
- 1/4 cup Sugar
- 1 1/4 cups Light Brown Sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 egg yolk
- 2 tblsp milk
- 1 1/2 tsp vanilla
- 1 cup white chocolate chips
- 1 cup butterscotch chips
- A couple of sheets of parchment paper, cookie baking sheets, #20 Ice cream scooper.
- Preheat oven to 375. Mix together in a seperate bowl flour, salt and soda.
- Melt butter in sauce pan. In large bowl, cream together butter and sugars. Incorporate egg, egg yolk, vanilla and milk.
- Slowly add flour mixture to sugar mixture. Fold in chips and chill dough for at least 1 hour.
- use a #20 Ice cream scooper to dish the cookies, 6 to a cookie sheet. Bake cookies on parchment paper for 14 minutes.
