Double Fudge Soft Pan Brownies

  1. Heat oven to 325u0b0.
  2. Stir together flour, soda and salt; set aside.
  3. In medium saucepan combine sugar, butter and water.
  4. Cook over low heat and stir constantly.
  5. Bring to boil.
  6. Remove from heat.
  7. Immediately add 1 cup chocolate chips.
  8. Stir until melted. Add eggs and vanilla until well blended.
  9. Gradually add flour mix, blending well.
  10. Stir in remaining chocolate chips and nuts.
  11. Pour into 9-inch square baking pan.
  12. Bake 25 to 30 minutes or until pulls away from sides of pan.
  13. Makes 1 1/2 dozen.
