Stuffed Manicotti
- 2 lb. ground beef
- 3 links Italian sausage
- 3 pods garlic
- 1 large onion
- 1 small bell pepper
- fresh or dried basil
- 1 c. chopped parsley
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. black pepper
- 1 Tbsp. Romano cheese
- 3 eggs
- 1 1/2 c. Italian breadcrumbs
- 1 lb. box manicotti
- Italian red gravy (I use my own homemade Italian gravy but you can use Ragu red sauce in a jar)
- Chop all seasoning.
- Remove sausage from casing and combine with beef.
- Brown well in skillet.
- Add chopped seasoning.
- Saute. Remove from heat.
- Add Romano cheese.
- Let cool.
- Cook manicotti according to directions.
- Add 3 raw eggs to the cooked meat.
- Add Italian breadcrumbs.
- Mix, then stuff manicotti.
- Arrange in a baking dish.
- Add your favorite Italian red gravy.
- Sprinkle with Romano cheese and Mozzarella cheese.
- Bake at 350u0b0 for 35 to 40 minutes.
