Dog Biscuits
- 1 egg
- 1/4 c. vegetable oil
- 1 1/2 c. flour
- 1/4 c. rolled oats
- 1/2 c. milk
- 1/4 c. honey
- 3/4 c. bran cereal
- Preheat oven to 350u0b0.
- Lightly beat the egg.
- In a large bowl, stir together the egg, milk, vegetable oil and honey.
- Use a large spoon.
- This is not a job for an electric mixer.
- Combine the flour, bran cereal and rolled oats.
- Add them to the egg mixture.
- Stir until you've created a stiff dough.
- Sprinkle flour on a pastry cloth or board and roll dough to about 1/4-inch thick. Use a knife or toothpick to mark bone shapes.
- Each about two inches long or you may use a bone-shaped cookie cutter.
- Roll up the scraps of dough; roll out again and cut more biscuits.
- Place on a lightly greased baking sheet.
- Bake for about 15 minutes. Makes about 2 dozen.
