Dog Biscuits

  1. Preheat oven to 350u0b0.
  2. Lightly beat the egg.
  3. In a large bowl, stir together the egg, milk, vegetable oil and honey.
  4. Use a large spoon.
  5. This is not a job for an electric mixer.
  6. Combine the flour, bran cereal and rolled oats.
  7. Add them to the egg mixture.
  8. Stir until you've created a stiff dough.
  9. Sprinkle flour on a pastry cloth or board and roll dough to about 1/4-inch thick. Use a knife or toothpick to mark bone shapes.
  10. Each about two inches long or you may use a bone-shaped cookie cutter.
  11. Roll up the scraps of dough; roll out again and cut more biscuits.
  12. Place on a lightly greased baking sheet.
  13. Bake for about 15 minutes. Makes about 2 dozen.
