Barbequed Chimney Cake
- 500 gram flour
- 20 gram yeast
- 1 cup milk
- 1 egg
- 80 gram butter
- 30 gram sugar
- 10 gram yeast
- 1/4 teaspoon of salt
- 1 cup of ground walnuts
- 1/4 cup of sugar.
- Mix yeast, 1 teaspoon of sugar, 2 table spoons of flour and lukewarm milk, let it rise for
- 10 minutes. add it to the rest of flour, and one egg and kneed. Roll it with a rolling pin to
- a half inch thicknes. Cut strips, finger widht and wrap it around the baking tool which is
- previously buttered. Gently flatten it by tapping it with your hand. While grilling it moisten
- it with melted butter. When half baked (starting to get golden brown) cover it with the
- mixture of ground walnuts and sugar and bake it for an other 6-8 minutes. When finished
- tap the narrow end to a hard surface and the cake will slide off the baking tool. The
- escaping steam will give it the appearance of a chimney.
