In-N-Out Burger

  1. Preheat a frying pan over medium heat.
  2. Lightly toast the hamburger bun, face down in the pan.
  3. Set aside.
  4. Form each half into a thin patty slightly larger than the bun.
  5. Lightly salt patty and cook for 2-3 minutes on the first side.
  6. Flip it over and immediately place slice of cheese on. Cook for 2-3 minutes.
  7. Assemble the burger in the following stacking order from the bottom up:
  8. bottom bun / dressing/ tomato/ lettuce/ beef patty with cheese/
  9. onion slice or grilled onions/ top bun.
  10. Makes one hamburger.
