Georgian Bay Bbq Beans
- 1/2 pound Ground Beef
- 1/2 cup Chopped Onion
- 2 tablespoons Sugar
- 3 tablespoons Brown Sugar - Firmly Packed
- 2/3 cup Your Favourite BBQ Sauce (Montgomery Inn)
- 1/3 cup Ketchup
- 1/2 teaspoon Salt
- 1/2 teaspoon Pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon Chili Powder
- 2 tablespoons Molasses
- 2 teaspoons Dijon Mustard
- 1 can Kidney Beans, Drained
- 1 can Black Beans, Drained
- 1 can Chick Peas, Drained
- 1 can Pork and Beans, Do not drain
- 10 strips Crumbled Bacon
- Cook ground beef and onion, stirring until meat crumbles. Drain and place in large bowl.
- Stir sugar and remaining ingredients into mixture.
- Spoon into lightly greased slow cooker.
- Cook on low for 3-4 hours, stirring once or twice.
- Alternative to slow cooker. Place in baking dish and cook uncovered at 350 for 1 hour, stirring once.
