Freezer To Crock Pot Hawaiian Chicken - 466 Calories

  1. Directions:
  2. Cut chicken into 1 inch cubes.
  3. Place chicken cubes in a one gallon sized freezer bag. add in any optional vegetables. Set aside.
  4. Open can of pineapple.
  5. Pour approx. a 1/4 cup of the juice into a small bowl.
  6. Add the corn starch and wisk till well blended. Set aside.
  7. In a large mixing bowl, dump the remaining entire can (both pineapple chunks and remaining juice).
  8. Add in the chicken broth, brown sugar and soy sauce. Stir to blend till sugar is dissolved.
  9. Add in the small bowl of corn starch/juice mixture and stir until till well blended.
  10. Pour pineapple mixture into freezer bag with the chicken cubes.
  11. Squeeze as much air as possible from the bag as you seal it.
  12. Label and freeze up to 6 months.
  13. To Cook:
  14. Dump frozen (but if you remember to pull it from the freezer to thaw in fridge the night before that's ok too.)
  15. into crockpot.
  16. Cook on low: 10 hours if frozen 8 hours if thawed.OR Cook on high 6 hours if frozen or 4 hours if thawed.
  17. Till chicken is cooked all the way through.
  18. Serve over rice.
