Chicken Chas
- 3 c. chopped chicken
- 1 c. mayonnaise
- 1 can mushroom soup
- 2 c. shredded Cheddar
- 1 c. sliced mushrooms
- 1 small diced onion
- 1/2 diced green pepper
- 4 Tbsp. lemon juice
- 1/2 c. slivered almonds
- 1 tsp. curry
- 1/4 tsp. paprika
- 3 diced garlic cloves
- salt and pepper
- 1 lb. thin egg noodles
- 1 bottle white wine
- Cook chicken and chop into bite size pieces.
- Mix mayo, soup and cheese over low heat until all is melted, stirring constantly. Combine remaining ingredients, except wine.
- Cook on low heat for 1 hour, stirring every 10 minutes.
- Cook noodles; pour sauce on top, then squeeze lemon juice on top.
- Open wine.
- Oh, it's soo . . . good!
- Yields 4 to 6 servings.
