Heather'S Chili
- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1 onion chopped
- 1 garlic clove, minced
- 1 T. cumin
- 1 T. cayenne pepper
- 1 tsp ground mustard
- 1 tsp sea salt
- 1 tsp fresh ground pepper
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1 T liquid smoke
- 1 tsp red pepper flakes
- 2 chipotles,chopped plus 2 tsp ancho sauce
- 1 can kidney beans, drained and rinsed
- 1 large can tomato sauce
- 1 can fire roasted tomatoes with garlic
- water, as needed
- Brown ground beef with cumin
- cayenne pepper, ground mustard
- sea salt, ground pepper and paprika.
- Add all other ingredients and bring to boil.
- Reduce to simmer and cover.
- Cook 6 hours, stirring occasionally and adding water as needed for desired consistancy.
- Serve with corn bread.
