Real Italian Bruschetta

  1. Pre-heat oven to 450 F
  2. Slice bread into 1/4 to 1/2 inch thick slices
  3. Brush bread with good extra virgin olive oil
  4. Place bread directly on oven shelf until slightly golden, less than10 minutes. Time may vary depending on oven
  5. Remove bread from oven and rub garlic clove over bread, if desired
  6. Coat bread with tomato sauce
  7. Add cheese like making pizza
  8. Add toppings of choice if desired
  9. Sprinkle oregano over bread and bake until cheese is melted and slightly bubbly.
  10. Cut into 1 inch slices and serve warm
