Italian Chopped Salad
- 3 or 4 hearts of romaine lettuce (chopped, washed and spun)
- 16 oz canned garbanzo beans or chick peas (rinsed and drained)
- 12 to 24 oz grape tomatoes (washed and halved lengthwise)
- 1/2 lb sliced dry salami (cut into thin strips)
- 1 lb smoked turkey breast (cut into 1-inch slab at the deli and torn into bite-size pieces
- Brianna's Cream Balsamic dressing (to taste; approx, 6 fl oz.
- 3 sprigs of fresh basil
- grated cheese (parmesan, romano, grana padano, etc)
- Place ingredients from top of the list down to turkey breast into a large bowl. Add dressing first to the turkey breast and then gently toss to coat all ingredients. Add dressing to taste. Top with fresh basil and grated cheese to taste.
