Spinach Casserole(You'Ll Never Know It'S Spinach.)
- 2 pkg. frozen chopped spinach
- 4 Tbsp. butter
- 2 Tbsp. onion
- 1/2 c. vegetable liquid
- salt to taste
- 3/4 tsp. celery salt
- 1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 2 Tbsp. flour
- 1/2 c. evaporated milk
- 1/2 tsp. black pepper
- 6 oz. roll jalapeno cheese
- 3/4 tsp. garlic salt
- Cook spinach according to directions on package.
- Drain well, saving liquid.
- Melt butter over low heat. Add flour, stirring until blended and smooth. Add onion and cook until soft (but not brown). Add liquid slowly, stirring constantly, to avoid lumps. Cook until smooth and thick.
- Add seasoning and cheese which has been cut in small pieces. Stir until blended.
- Combine with cooked spinach.
- Put in casserole dish and top with bread crumbs.
- Dot with butter. Cook 30 minutes at 350u0b0.
- You can make the night before serving or it freezes well.
