Grilled Tandoori Chicken
- 1 1/2 c plain yogurt
- 2 large garlic cloves, peeled and finely chopped
- 1/2 inch piece fresh ginger, peeled and chopped
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1 tsp ground cumin
- 1 tsp ground coriander
- 1/2 tsp slt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1/4 c chopped cilantro (optional)
- 1 1/2 lbs chix breasts, cut into 1 1/2 - 2 inch pieces
- 6 12-inch wooden skewers
- In bow, conbine yogurt, garlic, ginger, paprika,cumin, coriander, salt and pepper. Add chicken and stir to coat it all over. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes or up to a few hours.
- Thread chicken onto skewers.
- Grill kebabs over medium hot heat, turning skewers several times, for 8-12 minutes or until chicken is cooked through.
