Stuffed Hamburger Steaks For Tailgating
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 teaspoon of seasoned salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 (6-ounce) roll garlic cheese
- and flour seasoned with salt and pepper.
- Combine ground beef,seasoned salt,and black pepper. Shape into 6 patties. Slice cheese roll into 1/4 inch slices. Place 1-2 slices on half the beef patties, and place the remaining patties on top. Seal edges and dredge in seasoned flour. Pat flour into meat. Cook on grill. Cook slowly until brown on one side, (or you may use a electric griddle or square skillet),then you turn over and cook until brown on the other side. Then take them off the grill or if using electric griddle or square skillet lower heat and simmer 15 to 20 minutes. But make sure that the meat is cooked thoroughly.
