Alvetta'S Arrugula Salmon Pizza
- Prepared Pizza Crust Large or homemade
- 3-4 ounces of Smoked Dill-Peppered Salmon (or substitute)
- Fresh Mozarella Cheese (one tub)
- Fontina Cheese 3-4 ounces
- Asiago Cheese 3-4 ounces
- Arrugula (one bunch)
- Olive Oil
- Preheat oven 400 degrees.
- Place pizza crust on round baking sheet or stone.
- Slice (medium) fresh mozarella and spread on crust.(Leave 1 inch edge around outside of crust to allow for cheese expansion). Shred fontina and asiago, mix. Spread cheese evenly on crust.
- Julienne (cut in thin small strips)and spread smoked salmon on top of cheese.
- Julienne (small strips 1/2" wide and length of leaf long)arrugula (hold small portion for garnish).
- Swirl 1/2 - 1 tbs olive oil on top of pizza.
- Bake in 400 degree oven about 12 minutes until heated through and arrugula is crispy.
- Throw fresh arrugula over top.
- Add a little freshly ground pepper.
- Cut and serve. That's amore!
