Easy Pot Roast

  1. In a 5 quart slow cooker, add raw pot roast arrange chopped mini carrots and onion and sliced potatoes around pot roast. Season with garlic salt and pepper. Pour gravy over pot roast and vegetables. Add port and marsala. Add just enough water to bring liquid up to top of pot roast. Cover with lid, turn the slow cooker on low and allow to cook overnight. In the morning turn up slow cooker to high, mix corn starch and water to smooth liquid consistency, add to gravy in slow cooker, cook until gravy thickens and blends.
