Leslie Ann'S Chocolate Oatmeal Cookies
- 2 cups butter
- 2 cups sugar
- 2 cups packed brown sugar
- 2 tsp. vanilla
- 5 eggs
- 4 cups flour
- 5 cups oatmeal(blended to a fine powder)
- 2 tsp. baking soda
- 2 tsp. baking powder
- 1 tsp. salt
- 24 oz. milk chocolate chips
- 1 8 oz. Hershey bar( chop in grinder or blender)
- 3 cups walnuts
- Cream butter, sugars ,eggs and vanilla together. Add Hershey bar to egg and butter mixture. In separate bowl, mix, Flour, soda, salt, baking powder and oatmeal. Stir well. Add flour mixture into wet ingtredients one cup at a time until all is incorporated. Now add chocolate chips and nuts. Mix well. Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Using a small ice cream scoop, scoop out dough by pulling a scoop of dough up the side of the bowl and put on cookie sheet lined with parchment. Bake for 12 - 15 minutes. Take off cookie sheet and cool on wire rack. Makes about 72 cookies.
