Walnut Caramel Triangles

  1. Preheat oven to 350u0b0.
  2. In medium bowl, combine flour and sugar; cut in margarine until crumbly.
  3. Press firmly on bottom of a 13 x 9-inch pan.
  4. Bake for 15 minutes or until lightly browned around edges.
  5. Meanwhile, in a heavy saucepan, combine milk, cream and vanilla.
  6. Over medium-high heat, cook and stir until mixture thickens, 8 to 10 minutes.
  7. Stir in walnuts.
  8. Spread evenly over prepared crust.
  9. Bake for 20 minutes or until golden brown. Cool. Garnish with chocolate drizzle.
  10. Chill.
  11. Cut into triangles. Store, covered, at room temperature.
