Best Lemonade Evar
- The juice of five organic lemons or limes. Do not substitute.
- One cup organic local sugar (cane or beet - depending upon where you live)
- Two trays of ice
- Fresh, cold water.
- Pour the seedless juice of five lemons or limes (or a combination of lemons and limes, but a total of five fruits) in to a shock and heat proof half gallon container.
- Add two trays of ice.
- In a 2 cup pyrex measuring cup, put
- one cup of sugar and fill to the top line with fresh, cold water.
- Microwave on high for two minutes. Do not boil, just dissolve the sugar completely by stirring.
- Add the dissolved sugar-water mix to the pitcher containing ice and lemon juice. Stir while combining.
- Fill to the half gallon measure with fresh cold water.
- Serve with a garnish of garden mint if desired.
