Crockpot Beans
- 1-lb very lean ground beef or fine chopped round steak
- 1-lb lean bacon or chopped ham
- 1-large onion, fine chopped
- 3-16 oz. Cans of Pork & Beans
- 2-16 oz. Cans of Butter Lima Beans
- 2-16 oz. Cans of Kidney Beans
- 1-Cup Catsup
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1-tablespoon liquid smoke, very important to unique taste of dish
- 3-tablespoons white vinegar, very important to unique taste of dish
- Salt & Pepper to taste, Johnny's chefs blend seasoning salt preferred
- Fry ground beef, drain well and set aside
- Fry bacon and onion, drain well
- Mix all ingredients well in crock-pot
- Cook on low heat for 4 - 6 hours.
- Caution:
- Due to the volatile nature of this very tasty concoction, be advised to eat in a well-ventilated area, and to avoid embarrassment, with very close friends.
