Chicken Divan
- 2 (8 oz.) pkg. broccoli
- 1 fryer, cooked, cooled and removed from bones
- 1 can cream of chicken soup (plus 1/2 can water)
- 3 tsp. lemon juice
- 1/2 c. mayonnaise
- 3/4 tsp. curry powder
- 1 c. grated sharp Cheddar
- 1 c. Pepperidge Farm herb dressing, crumbled
- 1/3 stick margarine
- Spray 9 x 9-inch Pyrex dish.
- Spread broccoli on bottom. (Fresh broccoli is preferable chopped in 3 to 4 pieces.)
- Mix soup, mayonnaise, water, lemon juice, curry and cheese.
- Pour over layer of broccoli and chicken pieces.
- Melt margarine and pour over mixture.
- Top with Pepperidge Farm dressing.
- Bake, uncovered, at 350u0b0 for 30 minutes.
- Can easily be doubled.
- Use a 9 x 13-inch dish.
- Freezes well.
