Sauteed String Beans With Almonds
- 12oz of string beans
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon minced garlic
- 1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 cup sliced almonds
- Sea salt to taste
- Sprinkle of goat cheese on top
- Snap ends off of strings beans and let soak in water for 5 minutes, boil in lightly salted water for about 5 minutes or until tender but crisp. Drain beans and let stand for about 3-5 minutes.
- * Note: you can also use the steam ables string beans found in the frozen section of your grocery store.
- Sauteed olive oil, minced garlic, crushed red pepper, black pepper and almonds on medium heat. Once the almonds become a light brown color, stir in beans. Once all ingredients are mixed together top and serve with a sprinkle of goat cheese.
